Sorting it Out

This is my very first blog entry and I must say a place for me to ramble my thoughts has been a long time coming.

It is my intention that this blog will be my place to reflect on the world and often times my little corner.

I have three amazing children and while a large portion of my life is dedicated to them I have spent a great deal of energy holding on to my own identity.

I find that when women get married and have children they often lose themselves in both of these awesome roles and it is hard to hold fast to the person they were in college or even two weeks ago.

I want to use this space to share my experiences, not just boring “my child did this…” stories, but all issues that shape our thirtysomething raising children world.  This will be a great outlet for me, hopefully entertaining and maybe even (I am grasping here) informative.

Thank you for letting me sort it all out here and please stay tuned for more from the laundry room.  Good Night.
