When I was in college I used to go to this dinky theatre and watch performance artists.

Lady Gaga is the queen of performance art.

There is a difference between getting half naked and gyrating on stage for the sake of being controversial and a huge talent that happens to be controversial.

I’ve always liked her.  She’s kooky, there’s no question, but honestly there’s so much more going on that I forget she’s dancing around with leather hands on her boobs.

She’s fantastic and every song is a journey.  When I take the time to listen closely, it’s an intelligent journey.  That’s rare in music these days.  This requires hard work, brains and courage and it’s super good fun.
